It's so stupid time of year: The Time 100 is live, so that Internet users agree to the possibility of their distorted vision of the world's most influential person. The current leader is an employee of the insufferable geek Reddit fort, catapulted it mindless of the hugely popular message boards Horde. Fuck it.

Gawker readers: Only you can stop this charade by voting for New Girl star Zooey Deschanel as TIME's most influential person of the year.
Reddit chief babysitter known as "Community Manager" Erik Martin currently has a huge lead in the Time 100, hard, what matter is really influential people like Barack Obama, Tilda Swinton and George RR Martin. (The third place is Ron Paul, of course.) This is not a drama, because the only people Reddit users on the Internet, the Internet surveys are to be taken seriously.
Now the TIME 100 is a meaningless stunt for the traffic to a dying magazine website mediocre draw. But when Reddit wins, there will be further proof that the site is an unstoppable Internet Tastemaker be spun. And we will be that much closer to a dark future world domination Reddit, where rage comics are an accepted form of expression that no one believes victims of sexual violence, and Ron Paul is actually one of the most influential people in the world.
